Dalton Ward Councillors – Community Events Fund

Together we make good things happen.

The Dalton Ward Councillors are providing small grants up to £300 for community activities, events and projects that encourage
resident involvement and volunteering opportunities in Dalton.

Dalton Together is a community partnership organisation that aims to strengthen the community across the Dalton Ward by:

• Speaking up for our community
• Seizing opportunities to build a thriving community
• Working together to make a bigger impact in our community

Why are you putting on this event?*
What are the specific costs of the event and will there be any charges to residents/families/young people to attend? We can provide small grants up to £300 to local community groups/organisations who are hosting local events that bring people together. (Please itemise where possible the full amount of the project E.g. venue hire, publicity, equipment, volunteer expenses etc)*

(If you are applying as individual and do not have a a groups bank account, please provide details of the group/organisation that has agreed to hold the funds on your behalf to enable your idea to progress. Unfortunately we cannot pay funding directly into an individuals account)*
Health and Safety – please give details of any risk assessments and if appropriate update on any safeguarding/DBS checks that need to be put in place to ensure any activity/event is carried out safely for you, the volunteers and all participants.*
