  • Together – Living Well with Dementia Support Group

    • Every Friday at Moldgreen United Reformed Church

    The Living well with Dementia Support group has reopened at Moldgreen United Reformed Church, they are also seeking willing volunteers. Details below!

    Volunteers Needed

    Could you make a difference in the life of people living with dementia?

    Hours: Fridays 10 – 3

    Venue: United Reformed Church Moldgreen 

    Roles

    Are you interested in people, friendly and wanting to make a difference? A group support role may suit you. 

    Do you enjoy cooking then perhaps you could be a catering assistant.  We provide a hot two course lunch for group members and volunteers. 

    No experience with dementia necessary as training will be offered. 

    All volunteers will have a DBS check.

  • Dalton Together Ward Partnership Meeting – 26th February 2024

    • 26 February – 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
    • St James Church, Rawthorpe Lane, HD5 9NG

    Dalton Together welcomes partners, services, local community groups/volunteers, youth organisations, schools and faith organsiations to our upcoming partnership gathering.

    This is an opportunity for us all to network, get to know each other and let everyone know about all the great things that are happening across the Dalton Ward. These meetings also give us the space to problem solve together so we can better respond to community needs.

    Please note: This meeting is not an open public meeting and is face to face on 26th February at 10am – 12.00noon at St James Church, Rawthorpe Lane, HD5 9NG. Refreshments on arrival from 9.45am.

    Parking Instructions: parking is tight on site so please leave time to park on the surrounding streets. Thank you.
