Dalton Together continues to help and support the HD5 Mutual Aid Group as it relaunches due to 2nd lockdown

Volunteers in our area came together in March to help and support residents within the whole HD5 area. Each area had a local coordinator ensuring we could help with shopping, prescriptions, post office deliveries or even a friendly call.

We have now gone into lockdown for a second time and the group has re-launched to help residents where they can during this difficult time

We ask residents to consider:

Using local suppliers where you can – get ready for the month ahead in the coming days, and if you haven’t registered to order online/pharmacy etc, if would be wise to do that now, if you can.

Check in on your neighbours, and let them know if you’re able to assist in the coming weeks – a doorstep drop could be a lifesaver, for some

Be aware of previous/circulating scams.
