Dalton Together will aim to support local groups and volunteers around; attracting volunteers, developing volunteering opportunities, training courses, public liability insurance, governance requirements eg safeguarding and H&S policies, DBS checks etc as well as assisting groups with funding support/advice.

HD5 waterloo coffee friends coffee morning
We hold a coffee morning and lunch club for people aged 55 and over every Thursday in the community rooms at the rear of cottage homes in waterloo we start at 10.30 and finish around 2.30 we charge £1 for coffee and biscuit’s we also run a lunch club where we charge £4 for lunch with coffee we play games , bingo and have a quiz we currently have 21 members and would welcome any new ones.

Hours: Fridays 10 – 3
Venue: United Reformed Church Moldgreen
Roles
Are you interested in people, friendly and wanting to make a difference? A group support role may suit you.
Do you enjoy cooking then perhaps you could be a catering assistant. We provide a hot two course lunch for group members and volunteers.
No experience with dementia necessary as training will be offered.
All volunteers will have a DBS check.
