Community Midwives and Knit and Natter Groups Support Local Baby Boutiques
3rd March 2026
Dalton Council Ward knit and natter groups have been busy throughout the winter months, creating a beautiful collection of hand-knitted items to support our local baby boutiques.
From cosy cardigans and tiny hats to snug booties, gloves and soft blankets, every piece has been lovingly made to help keep new babies warm and comfortable.
This wonderful community effort highlights the generosity, skill and kindness of our local residents.
Dalton Together is incredibly proud of everyone who has contributed their time and talent. This project highlights that “Together we can make good things happen”.
Special thanks go to our local councillors Munir Ahmed, Tyler Hawkins and Musarrat Khan for their generous support and encouragement of community initiatives such as this.
